Mobiltel was the first to start a 3rd generation network in Bulgaria and the world 5th to start a HSDPA network for fast speed mobile data transfer. The already available WiMax network of the operator allows broadband data transfer and establishing secured virtual private networks - even in places with bad fixed-line infrastructure.
